2nd-AISEPから半年。秋風薫る季節となりましたが、皆さんいかがお過ごしですか。

私も今日帰宅してからずっと対局を観戦しています。
先日の棋聖位就位式で羽生名人は将棋の文化的な側面について言及なさっていましたね。
この前、たまたま幸運にも羽生名人とゆっくりお話させていただける機会に恵まれたのですが、名人の将棋に対する見識は文化的側面から国際普及などまで本当に多岐に渡っており、ただただ感服しきりでした。
きっとフランスでも将棋の魅力を存分に伝えて下さると思います。
対局場のホテルでは明日将棋大会も開かれるとのことでエルワン（2ndAISEP参加者)も一番近いところで羽生先生を応援しているかもしれませんね！

梅田さんの文章は情報をしっかり与えて下さるのはもとより、どこか哲学的というか含蓄深い文が随所にあり、読んでいてとても考えさせられます。

Japanese Language Festival in Malaysia
Hi everyone! This is Voon!
Today I just have a small chat with Kazuma. We are talking about Shogi as usual and when I told him about the promotion of Shogi in University of Malaya (http://www.um.edu.my/) he told me to write it in AISEP blog so here I am! ^.^
Actually when I just got back from AISEP in Beijing, I was asked by Tsuda-san, the person in-charge of promoting Shogi in UM (University of Malaya) and also one of the members of Shogi Club in Japan Club (http://www.jckl.org.my/), to help him because:
1. I love Shogi; and
2. I'm the only non-Japanese who can play Shogi.
I always wanted to help out people if there's a way to promote Shogi so I agreed to help him out.
On 27th July at 8.00 a.m. we gathered ourselves at the Japan Club and at 8.30 a.m. we went to UM together. Many Japanese were enthusiastic about teaching Shogi to the locals and I was one of them too. ^.^
We reached UM ten minutes later and to my surprise there are a lot of people attending the fair!
The people in the picture above are actually learning how to dance in Japanese style! ^.^ We quickly set up the Shogi sets and since there is still not many people in UM so the Japanese asked me to play a few games first.
This is Naoki and he's only 11-years old! He told me that he learn Shogi from his father and he's very strong! If I'm not mistaken he's about 1 or 2 kyu. He can defeat most of the old Japanese men in Japan Club!
This is me playing against Naoki! ^.^v We played three games and I won two games! ^.^v Actually before this I couldn't beat Naoki at all! But I'm glad I have improve so much that I can win Naoki! Anyways we have a lot of fun!

Too bad I did not ask for his name. I would very much like him to teach me a few things about Shogi since he is very strong! By the way, did you notice Shoshi-sensei's fan on the table? ^.^
This is me playing Shogi very seriously. LOL. I always wonder why I put my head on my hand when I'm thinking.
A closer look on the game. My friend was yelling boring so we went to explore UM. They have a few activities going on such as teaching people how to make croquette and riceballs and they even provide tea lessons! Instead my friend and I went for a Yukata lesson...
Isn't the girl kawaii? lol. Too bad we did not try on the yukata because I want to go back and help promote Shogi. =.=|||
Anyways we have a lot of fun in UM. Some people actually find Shogi very hard to learn because it's hard to memorise the kanji on the Shogi pieces and they always forget how Gold (Kinsho) and Silver (Ginsho) moves.
Nevertheless I'm looking forward to help out again if there is another opportunity to promote Shogi!

梅田望夫さん、ＡＩＳＥＰ訪問＠東大駒場キャンパス！
７月２６日土曜日。
これでもかと照りつける太陽の下、駒場東大前の駅の改札口。
ウェブ進化論をはじめ意欲的な著作でベストセラーを出している梅田望夫さんが、われわれＡＩＳＥＰを訪問してくださいました！お仕事仲間？の岡田さん、東大ＯＢでＡＩＳＥＰにも協力してくださっているプロ棋士の片上五段も一緒です。
暑いので早速１８号館ラウンジへ。フリースペースに陣取って、メンバーたちとの座談会が始まりました。ＡＩＳＥＰを通じて得られたこと、考えたこと、を梅田さんにぶつけよう！！という企画です。
まずはブログ投稿第一陣ということで、いきなり筆者が一番印象に残ったセリフから取り上げますｗ
それは、会の最後の最後に中央大学の細川くんが質問した「ネットの発展を活かして、将棋の海外普及におけるヒト・モノ・カネの不足を解決する良い方法はないのだろうか」という疑問に対する回答の中の一節にありました。
「（何かを成し遂げるうえで必要な）お金は、あるところにはある。（中略）なにかをやろうとした時に一番足りないのは、・・・情熱なんだよね」
はっとしました。
僕は文化について少し勉強しています。その中で現代では「アートマネジメント（芸術経営）」という考え方が生まれてきていること、つまりアートや文化に携わる人自身がお金や人材等含めてマネジメントしていく必要がある、という立場が主流になりつつあるようです。そしてその現場でよく言われていることが、「お金が足りない」ということなのでした。
でももしかしたら、足りないのはお金ではなくて、お金を持ってる人や組織からお金を引き出してきてしまうような、情熱――梅田さんの言葉を借りれば「狂気」――なのかもしれませんね。
ウェブ関係の話題を専門となさっている梅田さんによると、今ではすっかり有名になった「ウェブ２．０」は、なにか突き抜けたような情熱を持った人が情熱を実現するための手段になるのみならず、世界中の「情熱」を「コスト０で」集めてくるプラットフォームにすらなる、ということでした。
さらに梅田さんが付け加えたのが、「最後までやりきることの大切さ」。
「（みんな）頭では、（どうすればいいか）わかってる。でも、それを『明日からやる人』っていないじゃない。だから『明日からやる人』が必要なんだよね。」
唸る学生。
座談会では真剣に話す場面もあれば和やかに空気が緩む場面もあり、メリハリの効いた雰囲気でした。一貫して司会を務めたのは２ndＡＩＳＥＰ副代表、笠井さん。非常に意欲的に日々を過ごしている学生の一人です。
一人でも多くの意欲ある学生を生み出していくこと。意欲を生み出す原動力となる、視野を広げる機会を、いろんな人に開かれた形で創っていくこと。ＡＩＳＥＰがそうした役割を果たし、「情熱」や「実行力」を持つ若者を輩出できたらな、と少し考えていました。

北京側スタッフ
お久しぶりです、笠井です！
なかなか梅雨も明け切らず、じめじめとしたお天気が続いていますね。
先日AISEPで友達になったChen（中国人の学生)から手紙が来ました。
こんな風にAISEPを通して知り合った人たちとずっとコンタクトを取り続けていければいいなと感じています。

今日は北京側スタッフの一人、中山しんちょうさんのお話をします！
彼は北京大学の2年生で、北京大学の日本人会の副会長をしているとのことです。
小学校、中学校時代を日本で過ごしていて日本語も中国語もぺらっぺら！
そして一番すごいのはその人柄の素晴らしさ！
どんなに仕事が多いときでも、思わぬハプニングが生じたときでも冷静に対処なさるしその時に周りの人たちに気を遣うことを忘れない方です。
スタッフというのは雑用が多いものですが、絶対にいやな顔一つせずテキパキとこなしていらっしゃったのが印象的です＾＾
牧野さんも書いてくださっていた通り、スタッフ中村のサプライズ誕生日パーティーのときには素敵なチョコレートケーキをチョイスして下さいました！！
そして、しんちょうさんからAISEPのご感想をいただきましたので以下に貼り付けます☆
今回北京側スタッフとして、AISEPに参加しました。
準備期間、いろいろと問題が出てきましたが、
無事開催され、成功を収めたことに大変嬉しく思います。
AISEP自体は、３日間と短かったのですが、
その間、各国からの参加者と大変濃い時間を過ごせました。
特に日本側スタッフの皆さんがとても心暖かく、明るくて
本当に楽しく一緒に仕事をさせていただきました。
今回AISEPで出会った皆さんが何よりの宝物だと思います。
最後に、藤田所長、山内代表をはじめ、お世話になった
皆様に感謝の気持ちを申し上げたいと思います。
本当に有難うございました。
しんちょうさん、本当にお疲れ様でした！＆ありがとうございました！！

青野先生へご挨拶
先日、AISEPの開催前から色々とご指導を賜りました青野照市九段にご挨拶に伺いました。青野先生は現在将棋連盟の理事をなさっており、渉外担当ということでためになるお話をたくさん聞かせていただきました。
夕食までご馳走になりました。ありがとうございました。
帰りに先生から右の本をいただきました！
訳者は現在イギリスのソフトウェア会社で将棋の電算化に従事しているという、ジョン・フェアベアンという方です。英字雑誌の「将棋」に定期的に寄稿なさっているという将棋好きらしいです＾＾
日本語と英語どちらもわかりやすく解説が施してあり、海外の方にはありがたい一冊なのではないでしょうか。
海外の参加者のために、「はじめに」の一部分だけ引用しておきます。
将棋の指し方や戦法を解説した本は、数多くありますが、将棋の考え方や理論について、やさしく解説した本はありません。
私は一年間にわたって、NHK将棋講座の講師を務めるに当たり、前述のことに気付き、何とかして初級の方にも解るように将棋の理論をやさしく解説できないものかと考えました。
そこで、将棋の理論を知る上で、大切と思われるテーマを六つにわけ、それぞれのテーマの中に初級者にも簡単に理解できる段階から、有段者が読んでも参考になる段階までを取り入れることにしました。
These are numerous books on how to play shogi or books that explain shogi openings,but there are none that explain in simple fashion how to think about shogi or the theory of the game.
When i was presenting the NHK(Japanese Broadcasting Corporation)Shogi Lectures over the period of a year,I had this in mind,and I thought about how I could explain the theory of shogi plainly so that even low-kyu players could understand.
I divided the lectures into six subjects I felt were important from the viewpoint of learning shogi theory and under the respective headings a level where even dan players could read with profit.
