it's my first time in japan, and AISEP is certainly an amazing way to impress a first-timer to the country. 3 days have passed by very quickly. i have learned so much from the program an more importantly from other delegates. i had expert players in shogi and janggi teaching me the strategies of the games, and using chess as the starting point, our interactions have gone way beyond the game of chess. looking at cultural issues from the perspective of chess is an exciting idea and i'm sure all of us, delegates and staff alike, appreciate our similarities and differences a lot more. 5 days of AISEP is only the starting point of our lasting friendships.
